We carefully source and inspect each piece, selecting items for their quality, character and authenticity. As a result, signs of age and wear are not flaws—they're part of the story.

Please expect vintage items to show evidence of previous use, which may include fading, marks, repairs, distressing, loose threads or general wear consistent with their age. We do our best to photograph and describe any notable imperfections, but minor signs of wear should be expected. Because of their unique, historical nature, all of our vintage and pre-loved items are sold as seen and are non-refundable.

Fen & Frontier Returns Policy

At Fen & Frontier, we want you to love your purchase. Because we curate a unique mix of brand-new lifestyle goods and one-of-a-kind vintage pieces, our return policy varies depending on the type of item you have purchased. Please read our guidelines below.

1. New & Standard Items

If you purchased a brand-new, non-vintage item and it isn’t quite right, you are welcome to return it for a refund.

• Return Window: You must notify us and post your return within 14 days of receiving your delivery.
• Condition: Items must be returned in their original, unused condition—unwashed, unaltered, and with all original tags and packaging intact.
• Exclusions: For hygiene reasons, certain items (such as earrings or opened apothecary products) cannot be returned unless inherently faulty.

2. Vintage & Pre-Loved Items

Every vintage piece has lived a life before reaching you, meaning minor signs of age and wear are part of its character.

• Sold As Seen: All vintage and secondhand items are sold exactly as described and photographed. Standard signs of ageing, fading, or minor imperfections are fully disclosed or pictured and are not considered faults.
• Returns: In accordance with UK online shopping regulations, you may return a vintage item within 14 days of delivery. However, because these are delicate, one-of-a-kind goods, they must be returned in the exact condition they were received.
• Return Shipping: The buyer is fully responsible for the cost of return shipping. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured service, as we cannot issue a refund if the item is lost or damaged on its way back to us.

3. Damaged or Faulty Items

We take great care in packaging our items. However, if a new item arrives damaged, or if we have made a significant error in describing a vintage item (e.g., missed a major structural defect not shown in photos), please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at fenandfrontier@gmail.com with your order number and photos of the issue so we can sort it out for you.

4. How to Return & Refund Timeline

1. Email us at fenandfrontier@gmail.com with your order number and the item(s) you wish to return.
2. Once your return is authorised, we will reply via email with the correct return shipping address.
3. Package your item securely to ensure it arrives safely, and send it to the provided address.

📦 Inspection & Refund Processing: Once your return arrives back at Fen & Frontier, we will inspect the item to ensure it meets our return conditions. Once approved, we will process your refund within 48 hours.

Please note: Banks and credit card providers can take an additional 3–5 working days to clear the funds into your account. Unless an item is faulty or shipped in error, customers are responsible for return postage costs. Original outbound shipping fees are non-refundable.

We aim to get your orders to you as quickly and safely as possible. Please review our shipping timelines below:

• Standard UK Delivery: 5–7 working days to most UK addresses.
• Made-to-Order Items: Some of our unique or bespoke items are made specially for you and can take up to 14 working days to be crafted and dispatched.

Please note: Delivery times may vary slightly depending on your location (such as the Highlands and Islands) and during periods of high order volume. You will receive a dispatch confirmation email as soon as your order is on its way.
