From the Fens to the Frontier.

Fen & Frontier was born from a love of vintage clothing, western style and the unique landscape we call home.

Although we grew up in Cambridge, we now live in Little Downham, on the edge of the Cambridgeshire Fens. The wide skies, open spaces and rural way of life have always drawn us outdoors and continue to inspire everything we do.

We've always been drawn to things built to last. Clothing with character, tools with purpose and brands with a story behind them. What started with buying and selling antiques and vintage finds grew into a passion for sourcing quality clothing that reflects those same values.

We're the Ball family — Ashley, Harriett, George and Ethan — and the outdoors has always been a huge part of our lives. From days spent enjoying the outdoors at a slower pace to weekends exploring the countryside with our two boys, we've always believed that life is best lived outside. Our boys thrive on adventure, muddy boots and freedom, and we wanted to build a brand that reflects that same spirit of exploration and independence.

Today, Fen & Frontier brings together hand-picked vintage workwear, western wear, country clothing and carefully selected new stock from brands we genuinely believe in.

The Fens have always been a place of hard work, resilience and self-reliance. The Frontier represents adventure, freedom and forging your own path. Fen & Frontier sits somewhere between the two.
